Check out these pics of access guitar cases. The description sounds
great. Pics look awesome (especially like the neck rest), and the prices
seems great too (I'm thinking of what an OEM case would cost)

Now does anyone have any contact info for this place?

Here is the description of the OM case from guitar gallery...

There's a new kid on the block, so TAKE NOTICE! This are high-end cases
without the price tag ~

Access Stage Five Small Body: These fit a Martin OM like a glove. They
also work well on an Olson SJ, and a Charis SJ to give you an idea. The
lower bout is 15 1/2"; upper bout is 11 1/2"; and the waist is 10 3/4".
This are interior measurements. There is extra room on the side, just in
case your guitar has pickup controls. Double neck rest. Luxurious brown
velour interior, hand-stitched handle. Arch top. Brown, vintage looking
exterior with antique brass hardware. These cases feature the "CoverRing
(TM) sealed seam. This process secures & seals the seam of the exterior
covering material, which is traditionally a problem area on wooden cases.
See Picture... Interior. Our price on this fantastic case is 159.95

So Don, Are you on retainer?

No ! But if you haven't tried one, or seen one then you really should do yourself the favor. No kidding. They are the BEST valued case for the money out there.

Yes but if the retail price on this one is $159 that means that the price I
could get would probably be in the neighborhood of $40-$65. Ameritage
cases are great and I'm set up with them as well, but the price is
substantially more than this. If they are as good as they look they look
better than a stock TKL...of course one wouldn't know until it was in
hand....but I can't even figure out who they are!

Hey John,
I found their website. They are made in China. Here is the website.

Seems they are located in WA though. At least the us distribution. I sent
them an e-mail asking about the stage 5 cases.. The lower models did
not interest me. I'll report back on what I learn..

I carry the Access cases in my store. The Stage 5 is a very nice case - great for the money. One of the nice touches is a removable heel cushion that makes the case fit well for either 12 or 14 fret bodies. There is also an adjustable support for the peghead.
The cases are made in China, the office is on Bainbridge Island, WA & they ship from either N Carolina or LA.
I talked to them about custom cases, they will do them but with a very large minimum order.

How would you compare it to a TKL professional series case? Thanks for
the info.

Man, China is taking over the world....I think everything is made there now, right?

Yes, there is a lot of stuff from China these days. And now that China has de-linked the Yuan from the dollar, we will see prices of "made in China" goods rise. It may take a while to settle in, but the price advantage in the US of A for Chinese goods will change...

Except individually made guitars, packed with innovation and style! That'll take a while.

I think the fit & finish on the Stage 5 cases is as good as the TKL pro wood hardshell cases. The brown outer cover & crushed lining look pretty classy too.
